Man assaulted on train between Wolverhampton and Birmingham

A man was attacked and punched on a train between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street stations.

British Transport Police is investigating the assault which is reported to have happened between 2am and 2.20am on Saturday, February 29.

A man was reported to have been attacked after he asked a group of men, who were sat with their legs blocking the aisle, to move.

He was then punched and pushed and suffered damaged to his teeth.

British Transport Police officers have now released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to who may be able to help their investigation.
