Cannabis factory found at Oldbury home

Police have launched an investigation after a cannabis factory was discovered at a home in the Black Country.

A number of plants were recovered by officers at the property in Park Street, in Oldbury.

Police were called to the street at around 9am on Monday.

No arrests have been made so far and police are appealing for witnesses.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We are investigating after a cannabis factory was discovered at a property on Park Street, Oldbury at 9am on Monday.

"A number of plants were recovered as investigations continue.

"Anyone with information can contact us."

Anyone with information about the cannabis factory can call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting incident number 824 of April 20.
