Vandals smash windows at Kidderminster school

Vandals have caused more than £1,000 damage after windows were smashed at a Kidderminster primary school.

Three windows were smashed at St Mary's CE Primary School, off Stoney Lane, over the weekend.

Police believe the vandalism took place at around 3pm on Saturday, and are now appealing for witnesses.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "St Mary's CE Primary School, Kidderminster, has had three windows smashed, causing in excess of £1,000 worth of damage.

"It is believed this occurred on Saturday, April 18, at around 3pm.

"This is one of the schools which is still open to children from key worker families and has caused significant disruption during what is already a challenging time."

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 87S of April 20.
