Man arrested for attempted murder after attack in Dudley alleyway

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an attack in an alleyway off Dudley High Street.

Police have launched an investigation after a man, believed to be in his 40s, was assaulted in Rutland Passage at around 6.20pm yesterday (tues).

He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody for questioning.
