Man arrested in Walsall by counter terrorism police

A man has been arrested in Walsall by West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit on suspicion of breaching his licence conditions.

The 36-year-old was arrested from an address in the Walsall area earlier today.

A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "The licence conditions are part of an order made under Part 4 of the Terrorism Act 2008 and Counter Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019 following his release from prison in June 2017, after being convicted of terrorism offences in August 2016."
