CCTV image of man released over theft
A CCTV image of a man who allegedly stole a mobile by distracting its owner has been released by police.
The man used a leaflet to distract a woman in a shop in Market Place, Uttoxeter, at around 11.35am on Saturday.
The leaflet was placed on top of her mobile phone which was on the table she was using.
The man then picked up both the phone and the leaflet without the owner noticing.
Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to ring 101 quoting incident 330 of July 20.
