CCTV appeal after attempted burglary in Coven

Investigating officers have released footage of a man they want to speak to after an attempted burglary at a Coven home.

A man climbed over a fence into a garden and attempted to break into the house in March.

But he left the scene empty-handed and no damage was caused to the property.

Now, Staffordshire Police has released CCTV footage of a man they believe could help with their enquiries.

A spokesman for the force said: "Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to following an attempted burglary at a home in Coven.

"Officers received a call to a report of a man trying to breaking into a house at 12.16pm on 27 March.

"A man climbed over a fence into a garden and circled the home before leaving empty handed.

"Nothing was damaged.

"Anyone who may recognise the man picture or may have saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to email Howard.Davies@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk quoting incident number 262 of 27 March."
