Suspected drink-driver arrested after car crashes in front of Wednesfield police
A car hurtled on its side and plunged onto a pavement in front of startled police officers.
The driver lost control of the car, crashing in front of officers in Wednesfield on Sunday.
A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after the incident in Griffiths Drive, police said.
Wednesfield Police tweeted on Monday: "Another job from yesterday - this car wipes out right in front of our officers on Griffiths Drive.
"Driver arrested on suspicion of drink driving - which is rather evident I would say given the road and speed limit."
