The Power Station Road site had been in private ownership for 29 years and forms part of Sandyford Properties’ long term growth plans for the area.

The commercial property business space provider is also proposing to invest in site-wide improvements with plans to update the fabric and appearance of the estate.

James Lewis of Sandyford Properties said: “Riverside is an excellent addition to our portfolio. The estate offers functional workspace at affordable rents and is let to a wide range of local occupiers. This is our second acquisition in 2021 and we hope there will be more to follow.”

Sandyford were represented by Andrew Hartley of Andrew Dixon & Co and Richard Saum of Ansons Solicitors.

Sandyford Properties lease commercial properties across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire and offers a reactive property maintenance service from its base in Hanley, at the heart of the properties they manage.
