Go Carz is looking for new drivers in the Dudley area

Private hire firm Go Carz will open in Dudley in January after an increase in customer demand.

Cindy Wilday, director of the firm, said they were announcing the move now in order to hire the required number of new drivers before the opening.

She said: “We are already bringing drivers on-board, which is fantastic, and already have work available in the area from our existing offices in Wolverhampton and Willenhall.

"We have identified the need to offer a more complete service in Dudley and view this as a natural progression for the company.

“We are really busy across the whole of the West Midlands and are currently looking for about 100 new drivers for the Dudley area.

"We are interested in hearing from anyone who would be interested in working with us.

"They may already be a taxi driver or have taxi driving experience – or they may have been thinking about a change of careers for some time and the thought of being a self-employed taxi driver appeals to them.”

Ms Wilday said one of the major attractions of driving with Go Carz was the flexibility the work it offered.

“A driver can choose when to work and fit the driving around other commitments, it’s entirely up to them,” she said.

“We have also heavily invested in the very latest technology in terms of our booking systems, and we are committed to raising brand awareness and ongoing marketing to support our valued drivers.

“We are keen to hear from potential drivers now but we will also be holding a general open day at the Village Hotel in Dudley on January 8 where people can come along, see what we are all about and register an interest there.”
