Blakemore Wholesale’s Wolverhampton Cash & Carry is preparing for an open day on Friday after a relaunch

The depot has extended its fine foods, fresh meat and food catering range with 300 new grocery products.

On Friday the cash & carry, on Coxwell Avenue at Wolverhampton Science Park, will be hosting an open day for customers to launch its new layout.

Between 8am and 4pm exclusive deals, goodie bags and barbecue food will be on offer. Customers will also be able to sample new products from suppliers, meet the senior management team and win prizes in a raffle.

The new layout has seen the introduction of a new more focused range that includes 10,000 ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen lines. The depot also features a dedicated butchery counter.

Blakemore says the improved organisation of the cash & carry will ease navigation and enable customers to hone in on the products they are looking for.

Also available on the day will be Blakemore Wholesale’s new catering and on-trade brochures, Caterers Cuisine and Bar Blakemore, promoting the company’s new comprehensive catering solution.

Wolverhampton Cash & Carry manager Mark Cresswell said: “We are really pleased to introduce the new and improved layout of the depot as well as our increased range to our dedicated customers.

“We would like to invite all customers, old and new, to take advantage of the exclusive promotions available on the day and to enjoy the new and improved shopping experience.”

As a part of the AF Blakemore Group, in September the depot will also be celebrating the company’s 100-year anniversary with a series of celebrations and activities.

The relaunch of the Wolverhampton Cash & Carry is part of a wider scheme to update Blakemore Wholesale depots throughout the country.
