Bully's charity stumped up £2,336 for the hospice, enabling bosses to buy new equipment to help make patients' lives easier.

The computers will help make the process of recording patients' information much quicker for staff at the hospice.

And grateful hospice bosses say that the charity's generous donation will have an impact for years to come.

The cash was spent on nine new blood pressure machines and three laptops along with portable trolleys.

Compton Hospice spokeswoman Grace Ruston said: "The laptops have been a godsend because our doctors can now record patient information more quickly. This means they can save time and move on to the next patient.

"We're extremely grateful to the Steve Bull Foundation for their kind donation."

Bully spent a few hours at the hospice, chatting with staff, volunteers and patients.

The day was particularly special for lifelong Wolves fan David Croydon, who attends the Woods Therapy Centre at the hospice and usually sports his favourite Wolves cap.

"David is a massive Wolves fan and he loves Steve Bull," added Grace.

"We kept the visit a surprise, and his face when Steve walked in was an absolute picture."
