Stafford's Got Soul and Motown returns to the White Eagle Club on Friday

Stafford’s Got Soul and Motown is back and for the first event of 2020.

The night will take place this Friday instead of the usual Saturday.

Soul DJ Kiera Robinson will be the guest DJ along with 'old hands' Gaz Lees and Mick Moylan.

The event will be held at The White Eagle Club on Riverway, Stafford.

Lorraine Conkey, organiser of the event, said: "It’s a great night out for not just those who love Northern Soul and Motown but those who what to have a good dance and socialise, we have a mix of people from die hard soulies from Staffordshire but many people from out of the area as well as singles, couples and groups of celebrating birthdays.

"The dance floor is full of those who love to dance with the seating pushed back to the sides of the club's wooden floor to give maximum room.”

The event costs £5 on the door, with free parking.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the bar will be open until midnight with a 12.30am close.
