Formed in 2006 in the town of Stoughton, Massachusetts the band have developed a cult following to release a number of EP’s as well as their 2008 full-length album 'Invasions Of The Mind'. Fast forward to 2017 and the band are self-funding and releasing their music through their own label, Shadowland Productions.

This latest UK headline tour acts as promotion for their latest EP 'Under The Mask' which features six tracks of signature Energy punk rock.

Speaking on the release ‘We are so excited to be releasing our brand new EP ‘Under The Mask’. We got to explore some unfamiliar territory’ says vocalist, Tank. ‘With songs like The Witching Hour and Under The Mask, the release contains some of our darkest and most heavy material to date. On the other hand, songs like I Killed Your Boyfriend and A Prayer For Rain are on the poppier side, which I think will appeal to old and new fans. I really enjoy the diversity of the songs that we’ve been putting out recently. I’m slowly trying to explore as many areas of music that interest me, while still being able to say with confidence that it sounds like an Energy record.’

Speaking about the Birmingham show ‘We had a great time at the O2 Institute earlier this year and judging by the looks of it, The Sunflower Lounge seems like a great place for an intimate, yet intense show. I can’t wait for people to hear our new songs, to see some familiar faces, and hopefully a low of new ones as well!’

Energy release their brand new EP 'Under The Mask' on July 21 and play The Sunflower Lounge on July 31.
