Angela Morton, who owns Hail to the Ale, on Pendeford Avenue, Wolverhampton with her husband Gary Morton, was shocked to see the nationally acclaimed singer walk through her doors.

Mrs Morton, who describes herself as the singer's number one fan, has been asking Beverley to drop into the pub but was shocked when she actually turned up with her entourage.

Angela said: "I always see her in the theatres and I saw her when we went on a cruise, I know she is from here. I had been saying to her for a long time 'You should come in'.
