Tears for Fears was founded in Bath back in 1981.

Having sold 30 million albums worldwide, the band - made up of Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith - is one of the most influential acts to come out of the UK.

Alison Moyet, meanwhile, is known for her solo career, as well as her time in synthpop duo Yazoo, which she formed with Depeche Mode's Vince Clarke.

Songs she is best known for include Only You, Don't Go and Situation - all of which she sang in Yazoo. She is also famed for All Cried Out, Love Resurrection and Don't Go, which she sang during her solo career.

They will play Arena Birmingham on May 5.
