Martin Kemp brought the show to Bilston's Robin 2 in June

The former EastEnders actor and bassist and vocalist with new wave band Spandau Ballet will be returning to the region with his Back to the 80s show on the weekend of Mother's Day.

Having been at Bilston's Robin 2 in June, he will return to Wolverhampton at KK's Steelmill on March 21, 2020.

A spokesperson for the venue said: "On Mother's Day weekend this promises to be the biggest 80s night to hit the West Midlands for a very long time. Dig out those 80s clothes, grab your dancing shoes, and prepare to enjoy a night of pure Gold - and, yes, fancy dress is encouraged."

Spandau Ballet sold millions of records worldwide, topping the charts around the globe.

Most recently, Kemp has been seen on Channel 4's Goggle Box with his Capital Radio DJ son Roman, and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, As an actor, he has played lead roles in the likes of movie The Krays as Reggie - alongside his younger brother and co-Spandau Ballet star Gary as Ronnie - and EastEnders as Steve Owen.
