It was also an international dream match as the former WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate faced ex-New Japan Pro-Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay.

The two superstars tore the house down with thrilling exchanges that saw both taking real risks to seize the victory.

Whilst the high-flying was spectacular, the ever-improving boxing of Dudley’s Tyler Bate was most striking, with him laying into Ospreay with vicious combinations.

If the semi-main event was thrilling, then the main event was shocking, as Kyle Fletcher turned on his trainer Travis Bank and tag-team partner Mark Davis.

The three Australasians had been due to take on the team of Chris Brookes, Kid Lykos and Walter in an attempt to finally force Brookes to return the world championship belt that he stole from Meiko Satomura.

After Fletcher was injured before the match started, his tag team partners would be joined by Jimmy Havoc for a wild match that went all over the Starworks Warehouse.

Davis had the match won, only for Fletcher to return and blast him with a chair. Brookes then handed him the stolen belt, and Fletcher challenged Satomura to a match.

Earlier this month, WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne and Millie McKenzie captured the Pro-Wrestling Revolver Tag Team Titles from Davey Vega and Matt Fitchett.

Their rematch was interrupted by Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier, making the match a three-way.

The action was fast and furious, with Dunne and McKenzie controlling much of the match with innovative double-team moves, that involve Dunne throwing his partner into their opponents.

However, they wouldn’t be successful, with Wentz and Xavier securing the victory to take the titles back to America.

After the match Dunne and McKenzie were attached by WWE UK superstar and PROGRESS Women’s Champion Jinny.

To close on two lighter notes, the Fight Club: PRO fans were getting into the spirit of the ongoing World Cup, with them changing the lyrics of famous anthems Vindaloo and Three Lions to serenade Omari and Jordan Devlin during their matches.

Alas it seemed that the latter was less than enamoured with the new lyrics.

Finally, Moth Sessions Martina (with an assist from referee Shay Purser) followed the example set by Tyler Bate at the last show, by saying a special hello to a visiting stag-do party.
