Catholic Action released their debut album back in October

It will give them a chance to tour their debut album In Memory Of, which came out in October and we reviewed here.

The tour stops off at the second city's Sunflower Lounge on February 22.

Frontman Chris McCrory said: “In Memory Of has been a long time coming for us, and it wouldn’t have happened were it not for you. It’s a record we’re incredibly proud of and we hope you are too. So, we’re thrilled to be heading out on a headline tour of the UK to perform. Thank you! And see you in February."

It will be a busy time for the band, who then head out to Austin, Texas in mid-March to -play at the superb SXSW festival alongside other British rising stars including Shame.

Catholic Action were formed in 2014 by McCrory alongside Jamie Dubber on bass and Ryan Clark on drums. Andrew Macpherson later joined as lead guitarist.
