Romeo and Juliet for Stafford Castle Shakespeare next year

Romeo and Juliet will be performed at next year's Stafford Shakespeare Festival, it was revealed today.

The announcement comes after theatre chiefs said this year's run of The Comedy of Errors at Stafford Castle, which finishes at the weekend, was the best yet with ticket sales already outstripping last year's.

Tickets for Romeo and Juliet will go on sale in mid-September and a special early bird price will be available until the end of December.

The production will run between June 28 and July 14.
