No injuries after two car collision

A wall was knocked down, but no injuries occurred after a collision on a busy Staffordshire road.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash on the A5190 Cannock Road near Heath Hayes, with police arriving at the scene as part of Operation Lightning.

One of the vehicles, a Mini, ended up going through a wall, but no injuries were reported as a result of the crash, which halted traffic on the road at about 5pm on Monday.

A tweet by Cannock Police said that one of the drivers was dealt with at the side of the road for document offences before the road was reopened just after 5.30pm.
