Bully: Confidence high ahead of cup clash

It seems like there's never a dull moment at Wolves.

Last weekend's win over Leicester was a fantastic match and a brilliant win.

What a contrast between the first half and the second. We started the game like world beaters, approaching the first few minutes in exactly the manner we've been calling for them to do.

Then at the start of the second half the lights went out! We played like amateurs for 20 minutes.

After that it seemed to click again and we were threatening going forward and got the winner in the nick of time.

I'm really pleased for Diogo Jota, he looks back to his best.

He was full of running and always looked to get at defenders. He's such a talented player and can play a key role in the second half of the season.

Talking of back to his best, Ruben Neves had a great game.

He's probably had a kick up the backside and we're now seeing him his passes like he did last season. It's great to watch.

It was a superb result and also an important one in the little mini league that's formed in the middle of the table.

The main priority this season was survival, we're almost there now and we'll see if we can kick on and get as high as we can.

Seventh would be amazing obviously, but if we're in the top 10 come May it will be a massively successful season.

It's on to the FA Cup today where the pressure will be off a bit, albeit it's a potentially tough tie at Shrewsbury.

I think Nuno will make a few changes, I can see him resting the likes of Neves, Joao Moutinho and Rui Patricio.

We've seen recently that some of the second string players like Leander Dendoncker, Romain Saiss and Morgan Gibbs-White can come in and do a great job, so whatever team he puts out we'll be favourites.

Shrewsbury will rough us up and try and stop us playing, but we've shown under Nuno that we can mix it up too.

Rip the gloves off, bare the cold and get stuck in. If we show the same desire as Shrewsbury we should be fine.

The January transfer window closes next Thursday and it's all gone a bit quiet on that front.

I think they've got enough in their ranks for the rest of this season. Nuno's gone to a Plan B recently and it's working, so we don't need to waste any money on back-up players. Unless there's a great deal to be had, save the money for the summer.
