New Express & Star Wolves book is hot off the press
Hot off the press – new Express & Star Wolves book On Our Way Back: Story Of The Season 17/18 is almost ready to hit the shelves after being printed.
The 152-page book tells the story of Wolves’ Championship title success, when Nuno Espirito Santo’s team stormed to the Premier League during an unforgettable campaign.
After the finishing touches were put on the book it was sent to Precision Colour Printing (PCP) in Telford, which has printed thousands of copies to be stocked from Monday onwards.
Wolves correspondent Tim Spiers said: “We hope that On Our Way Back will be a fitting memento to a truly fantastic season for the club.
“It was a pleasure to put together – there were so many special memories from throughout the year and we’re also grateful to Jeff Shi and Conor Coady for providing their own contributions to the book.”
On Our Way Back is a game-by-game look at a special season, with match reports, analysis, player ratings, fan verdicts, pictures and quotes from Nuno Espirito Santo and the players for every single game from the 2017/18 campaign.
It has been expertly designed and produced by Express & Star head of editorial art Simon Hill, who joined Tim at Precision Colour Printing this week where the book has been printed.
PCP marketing manager Emma Ball said: “For more than six years, PCP has printed the Wolverhampton Wanderers matchday programmes along with other sporting memorabilia and this month we were pleased to print the Express & Star’s new book on our most recently installed nine-colour sheet-fed press.
"It was installed last year in an investment valued at more than £2.7million. It is the only press of this configuration and specification in Europe and has enhanced PCPs sheet-fed printing capabilities."
