Wolves' new kit ranked second-best in Premier League

Wolves' new home and away kit has been rated the second-best styled in the Premier League.

Kit designer Marlon Feeney-Thompson ranked all 20 club strips on their design, in a BBC article.

Wolves redesigned their strip ahead of the 2018/19 season; having a new kit provider, Adidas, and sponsor, W88.

Their home strip is a throw-back to the old gold of the 1950s, marking a departure from the deeper gold colour of recent decades, while their away kit is white and black.

Feeney-Thompson - who designs kits, both real and concept, for sportswear brands and video games - told the BBC: "I like both of the Wolves kits. They seemed to have either changed the pattern or gone for a more subtle approach in the colour palette.

"The sponsor - although it’s quite in your face - complements the kit, being a ‘W’ as well.

"They definitely have made an improvement from last year. I’d quite happily wear either of these kits."

Wolves came out second best only behind Manchester United.
