Wolves have brought in goalkeeper Rui Patricio, midfielder Joao Moutinho, striker Raul Jimenez and defender Jonny Castro, and the 24-year-old striker believes they are going to strengthen Wolves.

He said: "Yes it is like they are coming to help us. We kept a lot of players from last season so I think this is very important.

"Also for Nuno, it is easier to keep the shape of the team. We have the same idea and we are going to try everything that we did last season so the players that arrive are more than welcome to help us and we are here to support them."

Bonatini was snapped up by Wolves on a permanent deal (£5m) after playing for them on loan last season.

And now he is looking forward to the new season, where Wolves return to the Premier League.

He featured during Wolves' goalless draw with Stoke City this week but said the match provided a good work out for the players.

He said: "Yes it is always good to play. It is always good to play a friendly match.

"We came here to play hard, I think that was of course a training session for us.

"We enjoyed it and we were against a good team. They played well and I think we did well as well.

"We were playing hard and we were running, we were keeping the ball so I think it was a good training session for us.

"And I think when we play in friendly matches in the pre-season, it doesn't matter about the result. It is just to adjust ourselves and we are here to do that."

Now Wolves are gearing up for their next friendly of pre-season against Derby on Saturday.

Bonatini said: "They know how we play, we know how they play, and we are going to play our game, it will be a great match."
