The midfielder, who left for Reading in August, spent almost 10 years with Wolves.

His new book ‘Dave Edwards – Living My Dream’ has just been released and the Welsh international midfielder took time out to meet supporters at the Molineux Megastore.

Edwards has put the book together with Paul Berry, Wolves’ head of media. It covers the whole of the 31-year-old’s career and also focuses on Wales’ remarkable run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals in France.

Edwards also lifts the lid on his near-decade at Molineux, giving the inside track on two promotions, two relegations and three years in the Premier League.

He also gives a behind-the-scenes take on the day Mick McCarthy was sacked as Wolves boss in 2012 and how the midfielder was approaching depression after a host of injury problems. In another exclusive extract in today’s Express & Star he tells the story of how he nearly left Wolves for Bristol City in 2014.

All of Edwards’ profits from the book will go towards his Little Rascals foundation, which helps fund equipment and days out for children with disabilities.
