Emiliano Martinez could miss Ipswich clash with thigh injury

Wolves goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is an injury doubt for the trip to Ipswich Town a week tomorrow.

The Argentine was forced off during last weekend's 0-0 draw with Burnley with a thigh injury.

And boss Kenny Jackett has revealed the 23-year-old sustained 'quite a bit' of damage and may not be fit in time to face Mick McCarthy's Tractor Boys.

Carl Ikeme replaced Martinez against the Clarets and is next in line to wear the gloves.

Ikeme is currently on international duty with Nigeria and is expected to play in the World Cup qualifying double-header against Swaziland today (5pm) and Tuesday.

Jackett said of Martinez: "There is quite a bit of damage in his tissue.

"It does look like he has a problem with it. I'd put him as doubtful for Ipswich."

There is, however, more positive news on centre-halves Ethan Ebanks-Landell and Kortney Hause.

Ebanks-Landell is back in training and was due to face Liverpool in a behind-closed-doors friendly today.

And Hause is due to return to training early next week.

Jackett added: "They're both at the end stage of their rehabilitation."

Rajiv van La Parra has fully recovered from a knee injury and is still expected to move on loan to Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers early next week.
