The squad: West Brom have made a signing but how do they look ahead of the season?

Fans wants to see a number of other new faces arrive at the club, with the club understood to be in the market for a striker.

So, with fans hoping for more signings, how does the Albion squad shape up? Here is a full rundown of the squad and where they need to strengthen:

Of all the positions this is probably the safest one for Carlos Corberan right now.

Despite the fact David Button looks to be leaving the club, Albion are in capable hands with the three remaining keepers.

Right backs

Ethan Ingram

It is understood that right back isn't a position where Albion are looking to bring anyone in.

Darnell Furlong, who some fans have been critical of over the past season, is first choice with Ethan Ingram providing back up.

Taylor Gardner-Hickman can fill in there, which may be why Albion don't see this is a position that needs filling.

Despite the departure of Dara O'Shea, Albion have six senior centre backs and re-reinforcements in that area seem highly unlikely.

Erik Pieters, who operated in that position last season penned a new deal, while Caleb Taylor returned from a loan spell away and Martin Kelly is recovering from an injury

It was understood the club were looking down the left side as an area to strengthen.

Currently it looks as though Conor Townsend will remain as the first choice left back, with Pieters providing cover.

Adam Reach is also a player who can fill in at left back - although it remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined for following his injury at Burton Albion.

Reported interest in Jack Colback took some by surprise - with Albion looking in a good position in the middle of the mark.

Corberan currently has four central midfielders at his disposal, while John Swift and Gardner-Hickman can both occupy the number ten role, as can Sarmiento.

Alongside that, Albion also have youngsters Jamie Andrews and Harry Whitwell who they can call upon.

Grady Diangana remains at the club but could leave before the end of the window with speculation earlier this summer linking him with a move away.
