The Albion man, who signed permanently at The Hawthorns over the summer, will miss all of his nation's three games during the international break.

Robinson is understood to be feeling fine and showing no symptoms, with no other members of the Irish team testing positive ahead of the game with England.

The news comes as a blow for Albion, with the forward impressing during the 1-0 defeat to Spurs - although he could avoid missing any games for the Baggies.

The Republic of Ireland confirmed the positive test, later announced as Robinson's, on Tuesday.

This is the third positive test at Albion over recent weeks, with Branislav Ivanovic and Matheus Pereira both absent for the defeat to Spurs due to confirmed coronavirus tests.
