Slaven Bilic previously stated his intent to sign forward-thinking players in the final week of the January transfer window, and having brought Callum Robinson in from Sheffield United - has now turned his attention to the 31-year-old.

The Polish forward, best utilised on the left wing but also capable on the right, has managed eight goals and four assists in 30 appearances this season for Hull, having joined the Tigers from Stade Rennais in 2017.

Should he seal a move to Albion, it would provide Bilic with a healthy array of attacking talent when a fully fit squad is at his disposal.

Currently, the Baggies have Matheus Pereira, Grady Diangana, Matt Phillips, Hal Robson-Kanu, Kyle Edwards, Charlie Austin, Kenneth Zohore, Filip Krovinovic and Robinson - all of whom can play in forward roles.

Jonathan Leko is out for the season with a knee injury, but is also an offensive threat when fit. Chris Willock and Rayhaan Tulloch are also in Albion's ranks, but neither have been heavily involved this season so far.

Grosicki has been a regular player for Hull this season so far, but his contract is due to run out this summer.

The Baggies have struggled in the Championship following a blistering start to the season, and Grosicki would provide added fire power to help Albion get back on track in the race for promotion.
