The 58-year-old has been without a club since departing Albion in 2018, with that spell at The Hawthorns lasting just four months.

The former Crystal Palace and Newcastle boss played a huge role in the club's relegation that season, overseeing a run of eight successive Premier League defeats which saw the Baggies sitting bottom of the table before his exit.

Despite a spirited revival under former head coach Darren Moore, the Baggies suffered relegation that summer.

Pardew had been linked with several jobs in England since by the bookies, but has now found his way back to management on the continent with The Storks, who sit second bottom of the Eredivisie table, having won just three out of 18 games so far this season.

He takes the reins alongside English coach Chris Powell.

"In the search for a new challenge I am glad that I came across ADO Den Haag," Pardew said.

"It is a beautiful and warm club, where everything starts with enthusiasm and passion. The team is in a difficult period, but we will do everything we can to turn the tide. We must all do that together. With the players, the staff, the staff and the fans. Together we go for a comeback."
