Darren Moore and Dean Smith go head-to-head for manager of the month award
Darren Moore and Dean Smith have been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship manager of the month award for November.
Villa striker Tammy Abraham is also up for the player of the month award.
Albion boss Moore masterminded a turnaround in fortunes in November with a change of approach that ended a four-game winless run with a standout 4-1 victory over high-flying Leeds.
That victory sparked a run of three wins in a row that shot the Baggies back into the top four.
Smith won 10 points out of a possible 12 in November, and his new-look Villa side scored 14 goals on a run that included statement wins over Derby County and rivals Birmingham City.
Abraham scored six goals in those four games, including a four-goal haul in a memorable 5-5 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Moore and Smith, who meet at The Hawthorns tomorrow night, are up against Norwich City boss Daniel Farke and Rotherham United manager Paul Warne.
Abraham is up against Forest midfielder Joe Lolley, Norwich striker Teemu Pukki, and Middlesbrough goalkeeper Darren Randolph.
The winners will be announced on Friday. The judging panel for both awards includes former Albion and Wolves striker Don Goodman.
