Darrell Clarke's side have it all to do against the Owls with two divisions separating the teams.

It is the first time the two sides have met since 2012.

The tie (the Saddlers first competitive fixture since March) will be played in the first weekend of September.

This season's competition has been forced to undergo a revamp and schedule alterations in a bid to get it finished in the jam-packed fixture list to come.

Semi-finals have been reduced to just one leg while we are set to see the first four rounds played out before the end of September.

Premier League clubs as usual will not enter the pot until round two.

Walsall were knocked out by Crawley in the opening round last season following a 3-2 home defeat.
