Sporting Khalsa had to settle for a point in the face of a battling Bedworth performance.

Sam Lomax in the visitors’ goal pulled off a number of saves to deny Ian Rowe’s promotion-chasing side a vital victory.

Sporting were looking to bounce back after last week’s defeat at Coleshill but again paid the penalty for a lack of a clinical edge in front of goal.

The first half saw James McGrady shoot straight at Lomax while Miracle Okafor headed weakly at the keeper when McGrady turned provider.

McGrady was unlucky with a good shot well saved by Lomax in the closing stages of the first half.

After the break Lomax was again in the thick of the action and equal to anything Sporting could throw at him while at the other end Sam Arnold saved well from Tristan Dunkley.
