Having been issued a resolution to vote on the season’s outcome on Monday evening, clubs were told by the National League this morning they are expected to return to action from Saturday, after a two-week break.

Harriers are not scheduled for action this weekend, but are due to travel to Boston United on Tuesday.

Chairmen or representatives of the 22 clubs meet online tonight to discuss the issue. It is understood that 13 clubs are against playing and likely to be unwilling to continue while the vote process goes ahead.

Clubs at step one, in the National League, and step two, in the North and South were given 28 days to vote on whether to continue the campaign or to declare it null and void.
