But what are the bookies saying about Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa's chances of signing anyone (or seeing someone leave) before the month is out?

Here we take a look at some of the players linked with moves to or from those three clubs, and look at their odds of doing so...

Note: All odds correct at the time of writing.

Ruben Neves

Ruben Neves

Linked with: Manchester City, Juventus

There's nothing to suggest Ruben Neves is eyeing a move from Molineux anytime soon, but that hasn't stopped the bookmakers offering odds on a departure - given his undeniable quality.

Linked with a number of huge clubs in Europe, Neves is odds on to remain a Wolves player this month - it would be a huge surprise if he was to leave, especially so late in the window.

Odds:

To stay at Wolves: 1/33

Manchester City: 7/1

Manchester United: 8/1

Chelsea: 8/1

Liverpool: 10/1

Spurs: 16/1

Arsenal: 20/1

Juventus: 33/1

Real Madrid: 33/1

Porto: 40/1

To leave Wolves: 9/1

Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish

Linked with: Spurs, Leicester City

Seemingly set to depart last summer during Villa's financial struggles - the arrival of Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris ensured that the club kept hold of its prize asset in the shape of Grealish amid heavy interest from Spurs - but could he depart this month?

As is the case with Neves, an exit late in January is very unlikely, especially given his recent new contract and current injury problems. Here's what the bookies think...

Odds:

To stay at Villa: 1/12

Spurs: 7/1

West Ham: 14/1

Arsenal: 14/1

Leicester: 25/1

Liverpool: 33/1

Chelsea: 33/1

Manchester United: 40/1

Bradley Dack

Bradley Dack

Linked with: West Brom

A man of previous interest to Albion, Bradley Dack has plenty of suitors within the Championship and Premier League following his recent exploits at Ewood Park.

Albion are not thought to be intent on splashing too much cash this month, meaning any move for Dack seems off the mark - that hasn't stopped bookmakers offering a price on the move though...

Odds:

Newcastle United: 22/1

Everton: 33/1

To stay at Blackburn: 1/10

Divock Origi

Divock Origi (AMA/Sam Bagnall)

Linked with: Wolves

Linked with a move to Wolves in previous windows - now Wolves have missed out on Tammy Abraham, could they look to Origi as their next option?

The bookmakers think that's a possibility, with Nuno's side the favourites for his signature this month...

To join Wolves: 6/1

Fulham: 16/1

Spurs: 16/1

West Ham:20/1

Bournemouth: 28/1

Cardiff: 28/1

Rangers: 40/1

To stay at Liverpool: 8/11

Neal Maupay

Neal Maupay (AMA)
