Birmingham have completed the signing of left-back Franck Queudrue from Fulham in a £2.5million deal.

The 28-year-old has become Steve Bruce's ninth summer signing and today agreed a three year deal.

Bruce said he needed to strengthen his back four and Queudrue (pictured in action against Blues) will provide left-back competition with Mat Sadler who recently signed a new three year contract.

Birmingham will pay an initial £2million to Fulham but the fee could rise by another £500,000 in add-ons.

Queudrue signed for Boro from Lens in 2001 and played almost 200 games for the club.

Queudrue has been added to Fabrice Muamba, Parnaby, Garry O'Connor, Olivier Kapo, Richard Kingson, Daniel de Ridder, Rafael Schmitz and Hossam Ghaly as part of Bruce's new-look squad.

He also joins former Middlesbrough team-mate Stuart Parnaby, who moved from the Riverside on a Bosman free transfer last month.
