Man killed in crash that saw car flip onto its roof near Bewdley

A man has died after a car flipped over onto its roof in a field after crashing into a telegraph pole.

The crash took place in Heightington Road, near Bewdley, at around 4pm on Saturday.

A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "The crash involved one vehicle that lost control clipping a telegraph pole before entering a field and stopping on its roof.

"One male was unfortunately pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

"A 28-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.

"To help with our investigation we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any other information that could help with our enquiries."
