Call for people to take lifestyle survey in Wolverhampton

Residents in Wolverhampton looking to start 2023 on a healthy note are being asked to take part in the city’s biggest ever personal wellbeing and lifestyle survey.

Wolverhampton Council

The council’s online City Lifestyle Survey is aimed at people over 16 and has been launched to help shape future services in the city. People will be asked a series of questions on a number of topics including physical activity, alcohol consumption, access to GPs and vaccinations.

More than two dozen local community organisations are helping to promote the survey. A donation of £2 will be given for each one completed and people will be able to select their individual choice of organisation.

Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, the council’s cabinet member for public health and wellbeing, said: “This is a large-scale survey that will provide us with reliable and valuable intelligence about the health and wellbeing of people in Wolverhampton. This will give the council and other organisations across the city the information they need to make the right decisions for the local population.

“It will also help local organisations financially, because at the end of the survey people will be able to choose which organisation they would like to support with an additional £2 reward which will be paid to them by the council.”

Each organisation will also receive £300 from the council for supporting the consultation. All responses are anonymous and the survey is open until Tuesday January 31, 2023. To take part in the survey visit www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/lifestylesurvey
