Man dies after medical emergency in Walsall

A man has died after suffering a medical emergency in Walsall.

The Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene in Coalpool Lane, Walsall

Emergency services, including the Midlands Air Ambulance, were called to a property in Coalpool Lane at around 10.30am on Sunday.

Ambulance staff administered life support, but it became apparent nothing could be done and the man died at the scene.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a medical emergency at a property on Coalpool Lane at 10.37am on Sunday.

"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was in a critical condition.

"Ambulance staff administered advanced life support but sadly it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
