Body found during search of River Dove in Staffordshire
A body has been found during a search of the River Dove.
The body of a man, believed to be 79-year-old Roger Wheat, was found on Friday afternoon during a search of the river.
Mr Wheat was last seen in Ellastone on Tuesday.
His family have been informed.
Formal identification will take place in due course. Detectives do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.
