Five teenagers arrested over Oldbury knifepoint robbery are released on bail

Five teenagers arrested on suspicion of a knifepoint robbery in Oldbury have been released on bail as police investigations continue.

The five youngsters – two aged 15, one 16, one 17-year-old and an 18-year-old – were arrested on suspicion of robbery and knife possession after a 14-year-old boy was allegedly threatened with a machete.

The youngster was in Halesowen Street, Oldbury, at around 8.15pm on Saturday when the incident happened. The boy had his phone, coat and hat stolen.
