Unexploded bomb found in Stourbridge woodland

An unexploded bomb has been found in woodland near Stourbridge.

Bomb disposal experts were called to Bunkers Hill Woods, between Wollaston and Whittington, and carried out a controlled explosion this morning.

A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: "Officers were called to a report of an unexploded bomb in Bunkers Hill Woods in Kinver at 2pm yesterday.

"Bomb disposal experts attended the scene this morning and conducted a controlled explosion."
