Paula Wilson from Wolverhampton, who had her head shaved in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

Paula Wilson, a veterinarian nurse at Connaught House Veterinary Hospital, on Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, cut off her hair in memory of her mother who sadly died from breast cancer.

The veterinarian raised £1,000 when she had her hair cut in August, donating the money to Macmillan Cancer Support as a way to say thank you for the assistance they gave her late mother during her struggle with breast cancer.

Paula said: "Braving the shave was a brilliant experience. Everyone at work has been so amazing and supportive. They have all helped to promote my cause and they have been brilliant.
