Man accused of assaulting a police officer in the Black Country appears in court
A man accused of assaulting a police officer in the Black Country has appeared in court.
James Delaney, 42, appeared at Stafford Crown Court charged with an offence of assault by beating an emergency worker and an offence of driving whilst disqualified on Thursday.
The case relates to an incident, in Middle Piece Way, in Willenhall, on February 22.
The case was adjourned and the defendant, of Lydney Close, Willenhall, was remanded in custody.
