Police raid Walsall cannabis farm

A man was arrested when officers discovered the drugs farm which had more than 50 plants growing inside.

The Delves neighbourhood team conducted a drugs warrant at the address on Bescot Street, Palfrey at around 9am on Monday.

All the plants were seized at the scene and the male was taken into custody.

Photos showed how dedicated lights had been set up to help the cannabis grow, while sheeting had been laid down under the neatly organised plant pots.
