Man charged after attacks on pensioners

A man has been charged in relation to attacks on pensioners in Birmingham in January and February.

West Midlands Police issued a wanted appeal for Clinton Copeland earlier this month and he was arrested in Bloxwich after being spotted by officers in the area.

Copeland has been charged with two counts of burglary, theft, robbery and aggravated burglary.

The 35-year-old appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday and was remanded to appear before Birmingham Crown Court on March 29.
