Masked raiders threaten shop staff with gun in Dudley

Staff at a Spar in Dudley were threatened with a gun by masked robbers.

Two masked men entered the store in Russells Hall Road at about 8.40pm yesterday.

One of them threatened a worker with a gun and demanded money from the till.

The pair, thought to be white and in their late teens, took cash and fled towards Langstone Road.

Dudley Police tweeted saying: "We're investigating an armed robbery at Spar in Russells Hall Road, Dudley, at around 8.40pm yesterday .

"Two masked men entered the store and one of them threatened a worker with a gun as he demanded money from the till.

"The robbers - understood to be white and in their late teens - took cash and made off in the direction of Langstone Road.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information can contact Force CID on 101, extension 851 3150, or via Live Chat quoting crime ref number 20DY/85153K/20."
