Delivery driver's car stolen at knifepoint in Bilston

A delivery driver has had his car stolen at knifepoint in Bilston.

Two men approached the 68-year-old in Moseley Road at around 6.30pm on Saturday evening.

They threatened him with a knife – before taking his car keys and money, and fleeing in his vehicle.

West Midlands Police officers have now launched an investigation into the robbery and are asking for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: "We are investigating after a delivery driver was threatened and had his car and money stolen on Moseley Road, in Bilston, on Saturday.

"At around 6.30pm, the 68-year-old was approached by two men who threatened him with a knife before taking his car keys, money and fleeing the scene in the victims car.

"Fortunately the man was not injured, but left shaken by the incident.

"Enquiries are under way and anyone with information can contact us."
