CCTV images released after Wolverhampton railway station attack

A man was assaulted at Wolverhampton railway station following an argument on the platform.

An argument broke out between two men and a woman on platform five, which led to the woman striking the victim, a man in his 50s, in the face – before the other man threatened him with further violence.

The violence then escalated as more people become involved in the fight and the victim was left with minor injuries to his head and face.

The drama unfolded at the train station at around 9.15pm on October 20.

British Transport Police officers have now released CCTV images of a woman and men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
